Awhile ago I posted my CV on the Reed website so that recruiters could see it and I could also apply for jobs quicker, and last week a (non recruitment) company in Brighton contacted me about whether I was still looking for a job and if so what I was looking for.
I fired off a reply indicating I was still looking for Java work, and got a quick response (encouraging!) saying that they are a LAMP house, but was I still interested?
Having pointed out what my PHP experience actually amounts to (as I don’t want to waste their or my time), they indicated that they were still interested so I have an interview tomorrow morning! We’ll see how it goes but I’m a bit nervous….
